The Philadelphia Flyers have signed 2022 draft pick Alexis Gendron to a three-year contract worth $860K per season.

The 19-year-old forward impressed in the QMJHL playoffs, netting 14 goals in 13 (playoff) games. Gendron is known for his offensive creativity and ability to play both right wing and center.

He is a goal scoring machine

Just look at his 5 GOAL game...

Standing at 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, he's not a defensive liability but likely won't handle penalty-killing duties in the NHL. He'll likely return to the Gatineau Olympiques for the 2023-24 season, as he won't qualify for an entry-level slide.

However, the Flyers will burn the first year of his contract regardless of NHL game appearances due to his late December birthday.
