The Philadelphia Flyers 2022 top pick Cutter Gauthier has been on an absolute tear in the 2023-24 IIHF World Junior Championships as he has been filling the stat sheet and making some highlight-reel plays. Gauthier currently sits at fifth overall in scoring leaders for the tournament. Extremely impressive considering the amount of talent featured in the tournament.

In four games, Gauthier has currently racked up eight points with seven assists and one goal with a plus/minus of five. Gauthier has been an absolute star at making the right plays and getting the puck to his teammates to finish the job.

EP Rinkside author and player consulting specialist Mitchell Brown has especially pointed out how crucial Gauthier has been to Team USA's success on the offensive attack.

"It's been the little things for Cutter Gauthier, creating space for his linemates with his transition passing, playmaking, and support game."

One of Gauthier's best plays came on a pass to set up Rutger McGroarty for the hat trick.

Between Gauthier, McGroarty and Gavin Brindley, the offensive attack for Team USA could be massive as the tournament moves into the medal round.
