Where will Kevin Hayes land?
Danny Briere's mention of rebuilding has led the Philadelphia Flyers to focus on acquiring assets and prospects.
Kevin Hayes has shared with the media that he has no desire to leave Philadelphia despite having a tough season under John Tortorella's coaching.Briere has received interest from multiple buyers, as reported by NHL Insider Frank Seravalli. Hayes, with a $7.1 million cap hit and an NTC, is still contracted for three more years.
Teams such as the Columbus Blue Jackets, Detroit Red Wings, Minnesota Wild, and Dallas Stars have all expressed their interest in the center, but no deals have been made yet.
It remains unclear whether Hayes' reluctance to move or Briere's asking price is the reason for this. As of now, there is little information available and only speculation can be made.
