"One of the Philadelphia Flyers prospects has been making lots of news over the last couple of days. Lots of questions currently loom over 2018 first round pick Jay O'Brien. The 19 year old struggled at Providence College this year and only registered five points in 25 games and didn't register a point at the World Junior's. Now O'Brien has entered the NCAA transfer portal. Reports have surfaced that O'Brien might have suffered multiple concussions during the season. There's no indication of where O'Brien will play next year whether it be in the NCAA or elsewhere, but one thing's for sure, the Flyers hold O'Brien's rights until June 1 2022. Even though it's kind of early, as of now it doesn't sound too promising regarding O'Brien's future.
