"After being attached to only bad news the last 24 hrs, some good news regarding Philadelphia Flyers forward Sean Couturier. The NHL announced it's nominees for the 2018 Selke Trophy and Couturier finds himself on that list. Couturier ranked third in the league at +34 and dominated on the shorthanded side of things. He set career highs in total ince time and average ice time per game and stood out on the offensive side of things as well with career highs in goals (31) assists (45) and points (76). He would be the first Flyers to win the award since Dave Poulin in 1987. Los Angeles Kings forward Anze Kopitar and Boston Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron were the other nominees. The winner will be announced at the 2018 NHL Awards on June 20.
Your nominees for the Frank J. Selke Trophy are Patrice Bergeron, Sean Couturier and @AnzeKopitar.
