When there's smoke, there's fire, and Farabee... sounded like a player who was not completely satisfied with his role on the Flyers down the stretch.
His numbers during this season have certainly improved as thru 82 games he had scored 22 goals with 28 assists for 50 points with 37 penalty minutes. The 24-year-old left winger was drafted by the Flyers in 2018, in the first round, 14th overall.
If the Flyers feel they need to go in a different direction, Farabee holds another $5,000,000 AAV for the next four seasons. It's certainly possible that a general manager may look at him and may want to take on the full contract considering his game is on the upswing.
