Later tonight the Philadelphia Flyers will take center stage as they hit the ice at MetLife Stadium for the 2024 NHL Stadium Series as they take on bitter rival New Jersey Devils. Led by newly named team captain Sean Couturier, the Stadium Series is no stranger to Couturier, who has participated in the event a number of times and has put up unprecedented numbers in the classic.

The Philadelphia Flyers will be looking for their sixth point in as many games since the All-Star break and look to get back on track after dropping Thursday's game in overtime 4-3 to the Toronto Maple Leafs after making a resilient comeback.
Since Couturier's debut in 2011, the captain has played in five outdoor games throughout his career, with his most recent being in 2021 with no fans. Couturier was a massive reason in 2019 why the Flyers were able to complete the last-second comeback against the Penguins in front of over 70,000 fans at Lincoln Financial Field.

Another interesting point to note is that in Couturier's last two outdoor games in 2019 and 2021, Coots has been able to record multiple points in both games. The captain recorded a goal and an assist in both the 2019 and 2021 games.
Will we see Coots have another multi-point performance on Saturday night?
The New Jersey Devils are sure to come out firing in their home state and especially look for revenge as the Flyers bested the Devils in their most recent matchup back in December thanks to an Owen Tippett game winning goal in overtime.
Puck drop is set for 8:00p.m. EST.
