Flyers sign 6'4 defenseman to a contract
The Flyers announced last night that they have signed defenseman Hunter McDonald.
For the time being, it is not an entry level contract but simply a contract to play with the Phantoms at least until the end of the season. There will likely be a new deal this summer depending on how he does in the AHL.To further clarify my report from last night:
PHI has signed 2022 6th round pick defenseman Hunter McDonald.
The deal is not an ELC; McDonald is signed just to play for LV, for now.

The 6'4 defenseman has been playing in the NCAA for the past two seasons for Northeastern. McDonald had 6 points in 23 games this season with a 3 +/- rating.
