The youth movement of the Philadelphia Flyers has been one of the main reasons Flyers fans have remained excited and faithful during the rebuild. From guys like Joel Farabee, Morgan Frost, and Jamie Drysdale coming into their own while others like Denver Barkey and Oliver Bonk light it up in the AHL, the Flyers have a number of prospects to alter the franchise.

On Wednesday night, two top Flyers prospects earned a significant achievement in Russia for their historic performances this past season. Flyers top prospect in forward Matvei Michkov as well as goalie prospect Yegor Zavragin were named to the Russia Under 25 team for this past season, according to Alexander Appleyard.
Matvei Michkov needs no introduction as he was the Flyers first round pick in 2023 and regarded as one of the best players in that draft class. In 47 games, Michkov scored 41 points on 19 goals and 22 assists.
For goalie Yegor Zavragin, the 18-year-old goalie phenom put up an incredible 13-1-0 record in 14 starts, with a .943 save percentage and a 1.66 GAA.
With Flyers prospects continuing to bloom and dominate their respected leagues, it is only a matter of time before the Flyers become contenders.
