It isn't everyday when you see famous musicians or celebrities represent your favorite teams. Some celebrities are infamous for their fandom like Taylor Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs or Bradley Cooper and the Philadelphia Eagles, but most remain impartial to the sports world. Wednesday night, one world renowned musician showed his support of the Philadelphia Flyers, performing in a vintage Flyers letterman jacket.
Andrea Bocelli is one of the most renowned compsers across the world as an Italian tenor. Bocelli is known for his classical genre and his one-of-a kind voice, winning a number of awards through the years including 20 awards and over 40 nominations throughout the years.
On Wednesday night, Bocelli packed the house at the Wells Fargo Center and performed in front of over 19,000 fans in Philadelphia. While performing, Bocelli represented the hottest team in Philly wearing a stylish Flyers jacket.
Flyers fans on social media were thrilled to see Bocelli representing a Philly classic, and think it is an omen of good things to come.
