The Flyers AHL affiliate the Phantoms are officially headed to the playoffs after last night's win.
The Phantoms won 3-0 last night on the road with a stellar performance by Cal Petersen which led them to getting the final spot in the AHL playoffs."It's official. Phantoms clinch the final Calder Cup playoff spot in the Atlantic Division with a 3-0 road win in Bridgeport. Shutout (23 saves) by Cal Petersen. Goals by Desnoyers, Brooks, and Brink (ENG). Strong games from Lycksell and Lyczynski, too, among others."
As the Flyers missed the playoffs due to the last game of the season, at least fans will have the Phantoms to cheer on this year.
