Tom Wilson's Looking at a Long Suspension for this Dirty Play
The Capitals lost to the Leafs last night 7-3 but the big story comes from another dirty play by Tom Wilson.
After hitting Noah Gregor along the board, Wilson decided to swing his stick with one hand at Gregor's head and was given a double-minor for the play. Tom Wilson is assessed a double-minor after this high-stick on Noah Gregor.
It was announced this morning, Wilson will have an in-person hearing with NHL Player Safety which means that his suspension will be a minimum of 5 games.
Washington's Tom Wilson has been offered an in-person hearing for high-sticking Toronto's Noah Gregor. Date and time TBD.
