Ryan Johansen was traded to the Flyers before the deadline and its clear, he was only brought here so the Flyers could receive a 1st-round pick. However, it seems the Flyers were not aware of his injuries.

"Ryan Johansen isn't around the Flyers and a hip issue could be part of the larger situation with the veteran center going forward for however the club decides to proceed. #LetsGoFlyers"
Ryan Johansen, who has not had an easy year, as less than a year ago, he was traded from the Nashville Predators to the Colorado Avalanche and then was traded to the Flyers at this year deadline. Once he was traded to the Flyers, he was sent to the minors and now it appears he is not even healthy enough to play. Now his injury is being disclosed as a hip injury.
"Also per source, Ryan Johansen flew into Philly earlier this week. He told Flyers he has a hip injury, so he's getting some images done/exam from Phantoms doctors. Team unsure of next step until they figure out what is going on with the injury."
There is also, rumors of him refusing to play for the Phantoms, combined with reports of him causing issues in the Avalanche locker room. Ryan Johansen appears to be a injured and disgruntled player and very well may never play a game for the Flyers or Phantoms.
