After the latest development was released on Tuesday afternoon that NHL'ers Carter Hart, Michael McLeod, Dillon Dube and Cal Foote are the four remaining players are going to be charged and forced to surrender to police, a timeline has been released on just when a trial will be held regarding the investigation.

As the investigation continues regarding the 2018 Team Canada World Junior's team, it is reported by PuckEmpire that a trial will not be held until at least 2026.

Meaning, the Flyers are obviously going to be without Hart until then, even if Hart returns at all. It is very possible that Hart has played his last game as a Flyer but all reports are just speculations until a final decision has been made in trial.
It is expected on Feb. 5 that the London Police will update the press and public on the situation as they are set to host a press conference that morning.
