After the London, Ontario police department and The Globe and Mail reported this morning that five members of the 2018 Team Canada World Junior's team was asked to turn themselves in, more news has been released regarding the investigation and potential ruling.

Wednesday afternoon, the London Police released a press release that notified the public that they will be holding a press conference on the morning of Monday, Feb. 5, regarding the investigation. The press conference will be streamed live on Facebook on that morning.
With many members of the 2018 Team Canada team requesting a leave of absence from their teams including Flyers star goalie Carter Hart, it seems that we will not know anything else about the situation until at least Feb. 5.
Flyers GM Danny Briere addressed the media at 11:00a.m. and opened the press conference being very transparent, saying that the NHL has advised teams that any questions regarding the situation they cannot answer and have been advised to direct the questions straight to the NHL offices.
