Devils relieve Lindy Ruff of his duties

News broke over the past hour that the New Jersey Devils have relieved Lindy Ruff of his coaching duties after being with the organization for four seasons

It seemed to be one of the worst kept secrets as the team continued to underperform this season and it appears the Devils will miss the playoffs even though they were pegged to be a playoff contender.


Travis Green, Former NHLer and fomer head coach of the Vancouver Canucks will be interim head coach for the remainder of the season.
