In the NHL, teams are always looking for the next star to draft, however could the Flyers already have a star on their roster? The last two years Owen Tippet has emerged as one of the top forwards on the Flyers, but how good is compared to around the league.

"Owen Tippett has legitimate potential to be a star in the NHL. Can he reach that? #LetsGoFlyers"
Tippet was brought over from the Florida Panthers in the Claude Giroux trade, had only 14 goals in 94 games for the Florida Panthers. Over the last 2 seasons, Tippets has 52 goals and has a chance to hit the 30-goal mark for the 1st time, this season. Tippet who has incredible speed, is also not afraid to shoot the puck, Tippet is currently 11th in the NHL in shot on goal per game with 3.80 per game, and Tortorella has stated, he could have way more goals, if he didn't miss the net so much.
Owen Tippet just turned 25, so there is room for growth, if you compare him to a player like Sam Reinhart, who did not have his first 30 goal season until his age 26 season, and his career high was 33 going into this year. Now Reinhart, leads the NHL in shooting percentage and will eclipse the 50-goal mark. If he takes Tortorella's advice and hit the net more, It's not out of the realm of possibility that Owen Tippet becomes a 40 to 50 goal scorer in the near future.
