Not only has the 2023-24 season been a memorable one for Flyers fans as a year that was expected to be a rebuild has turned into a likely playoff appearance, but the continued development of top prospects has fans full of excitement for what is to come in Philly in the future. As the second half of the season progresses, there are a few top prospects who could make their NHL debut's towards the later part of the season.

One prospect that many Flyers fans have their eyes on is 22-year-old center Massimo Rizzo out of the University of Denver. Drafted in 2019, Rizzo has spent the past three seasons in Denver, seeing his numbers increase each season. After recording 46 points in 2022-23, Rizzo already has amassed 44 points this season on an impressive ten goals and 34 assists.
Rizzo only has eight games left in his season and played 28 games so far this season. Keep an eye out for Rizzo making his appearance towards the end of the season.
Another prospect that fans could see dawning the orange and black this season is 22-year-old goalie Alexei Kolosov. A third round pick in 2021, Kolosov has spent the past four seasons dominating the KHL, one of the top professional leagues in all of Russia. This season with Dinamo Minsk, Kolosov has amassed 19 wins with a .907 save percentage and four shutouts.
Kolosov has an incredible amount of experience playing over 100 games in the KHL, recording seven shutouts during that span. With the Flyers in desperate need for a second goalie with Samuel Ersson, Kolosov could get the call sooner than later, especially if the Flyers fall into injury trouble with Ersson or Cal Petersen.
