Nick Seeler and Jamie Drysdale have struggled as of late

As of late, the Flyers have struggled as they are on an eight-game losing streak. There is a pair of defensemen that have struggled quite a bit the last two games and that is Jamie Drysdale and Nick Seeler. Per, Brandon J. Sommermann, the last two games, the pair of Jamie Drysdale and Nick Seeler have a minus 7 on ice rating.

Drysdale and Seeler both have just came back from injury recently, which could be one of the reasons of their poor play as of late. With the two of them returning from injury, the Flyer were expecting them to help improve their defense, instead the Flyers have allowed 15 goals the last two games. Of course, not all the blame can be placed on these two as most of the games are not even close during the 8-game losing streak, particularly the last two games. However, it is clear that the Flyers expected more, when they paired these two together when they came back from injury.
