After the game, a former teammate of Drysdale and someone who has been in trade rumors, posted a cryptic Instagram story that has Flyers fans buzzing.

After every victory in the Flyers locker room, the team chooses a player of the game to dawn the affectionate "dog mask" to symbolize the underdog. Wednesday night, the Flyers chose newest defenseman Jamie Drysdale after Drysdale recorded a point on an assist on a powerplay goal by Morgan Frost.
