Karma bites Ovechkin after insulting Flyers

In a hilarious turn of events, sweet karma has struck back against Washington Capitals legend Alexander Ovechkin.
Just two weeks after Ovechkin made some cheeky remarks towards the Flyers after a pivotal win, Ovi and the Capitals find themselves swept after a first round blowout by the New York Rangers. The Capitals are the first team to be elimanted from the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
After the Capitals defeated the Flyers, ultimately them a clinching a playoff berth, Ovechkin post game said :
"Detroit get a point and they still pull the goalie," he had said after the game. "They didn't know that, but we'll take it. Thanks, Philly."
These remarks certainly rubbed a lot of Flyers fans the wrong way, so many of them are rejoicing in seeing the Capitals Captain being booted out of the playoffs in a dominant fashion. Ovechkin will surely learn his lesson and hopefully learn some humility in the future.
