The Philadelphia Flyers are in the process of the big R-word, Rebuild as stated by new GM Danny Briere.

Along with the front office getting a face-life and talk of Kevin Hayes being on the block, there will be more changes soon, as new uniforms have been revealed.
According to Sportslogo.net's reliable sources, the Philadelphia Flyers will go back in time to their past, to change their uniform design for 2023-2024.
Must read on FlyersInsider
The uniforms will be darker orange and will be taking influence from the style used by the Flyers from 1982-2007. The same style of jersey that was worn by famous Flyers like Rod Brind'Amour, Eric Lindros, Mark Recchi, and Ron Hextall.
All notions point to some superficial changes as well to the uniforms:
There will be some changes, of course. The black trim that borders those wide sleeve stripes will not be returning, and the single orange or black stripe (depending on the jersey) that appears before the patch of black near the cuffs will also be gone.

The back of the jerseys adds another Flyers uniform element that was never worn with this style the coloured nameplates, initially worn for a brief period in the 1970s and then again full-time from 2010 right up until the present day

The last time the Flyers had updated their uniforms was in 2010 after they got rid of their original Reebok Edge design, years after their last Stanley Cup final run.
With retro styles making their way back into the NHL, this seems that this would be a logical next step for some teams. Now if the front office could bring back the winning too.
