The NCAA Frozen Four came to an end as Denver beat Boston College 2-0 to take the championship. As embarrassing as it's to be shut out in the most important game of the year, it's more embarrassing when you put your foot in your mouth as former Flyers prospect Cutter Gauthier did during his pregame interview.

Gauthier clearly disappeared when it mattered most as he had scored 38 goals through the season and had 65 points in 40 games.

It seemed fitting for a young man who threw the Flyers organization into chaos after he told them he did not want to play for the organization after stating at the draft table that he would. This led to a firestorm of controversy across the web including a podcaster claiming that former Flyers centre Kevin Hayes was partly responsible for Gauthier's departure.

At any rate, Boston College is out, Denver's won the championship and it likely that Gauthier and his teammates are shedding a few tears now.
