It appeared that the Rangers versus Islanders Stadium game was a battle of wits as both teams slugged out a high scoring event seeing eleven goals scored in just over 60 minutes of play.

As both the Rangers and the Islanders seesawed on the scoreboard and busy penalty boxes, the battle ended in the third period with both teams tied 5-5.

When the puck dropped in overtime, Artemi Panarin showed his hand eye coordination is off the charts and managed to finish off the game with a strange goal scored.

The confusion was set in quickly by the Islanders as they clogged their netminder while dislodging their net from the moorings. Panarin buried the puck, which led the officials to discuss whether the goal counted or not which it did.

Panarin, has had a fantastic season once again as he has played 55 games, scoring 32 goals with 42 assists for 74 points and as a + 3.

The Rangers will return to MSG as the Dallas Stars will come into town and will play on Tuesday February 20th and game time will be 7:00 PM eastern kid
