Throughout much of the season, Carter Hart has proven why he deserves to be named team MVP. Game after game, save after save, he has displayed his incredible talent.

The Flyers were on the road tonight and played the Minnesota Wild, and with 7:10 left in the first period Minnesota centerman Connor Dewar was left all alone in front of Carter Hart, he made a sensational save and robbed the young centerman of a goal.

Hart showed the poise and the determination to make that save along with keeping the Flyers up 1-0. I always have been a fan of Carter Hart and have waited to see if he would blossom into the goaltender I thought he would be.

It certainly looks like that's happening, and if the Flyers can rebuild their team to complement him, his career will go even to new heights.

The Flyers' next contest will be on the road against the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday, January 28th. Game time will start at 7:00 PM
