During the 2023 NHL regular season, many are focused on the grind and winning games as they prepare for a long winter. In that chaos, many don't have the opportunity to unwind for a few days during the holiday season and get back to what is most important. On Saturday, the Flyers were able to give back to those in need as they participated in a toy drive associated with the Salvation Army.

Flyers players Morgan Frost, Ryan Poehling, Tyson Foerster, and Egor Zamula all participated in the season of giving and impacted many communities as they distributed toys to over 5,000 kids in need.
"Helping the community is great I mean I remember even growing up as a kid my parents would bring us Salvation Army boxes and we would spend time at our house filling up boxes with presents and bringing them over to the Salvation Army. It means a lot to me knowing my parents were so big into it and now being able to help out kids now that I'm older and have the chance to, it feels good." -Ryan Poehling
