Former Stanley Cup Champion Coming Out of His Retirement and Making a Return to Hockey
It has been about 15 months since Niklas Hjalmarsson called it quits in the NHL.
Maybe he thought it would be the end of his hockey career or not, but either way, the 3x Stanley Cup champion is attempting a comeback.
Hjalmarsson has announced that he plans to join Swedish Hockey League member, HV71.

I drive by Husqvarna Garden every day and think about what it would have been like to play in HV71and I really want to give this a chance or I will regret it in the future.

Hjalmarsson has a great career, which was spent mostly in Chicago where he was Stanley Cups in 2010, 2013, and 2015.
