For the past week, there has not been much for Flyers fans to cheer about. With Owen Tippett heading to the injured list, Carter Hart taking a leave of absence, and the Flyers losing five straight in games that haven't even seemed close, the Flyers stumbled into the All-Star break.

There has been one bright spot however, as a Flyers youngster has begun to step into his own after receiving more minutes. After another strong performance on Saturday the question has to be asked; does Tyson Foerster deserve a larger role?
On Saturday, Foerster was responsible for a majority of the Flyers offense, scoring the Flyers only two goals of the day.

Foerster has showed this season during some stretches that when he gets into a rhythm, he can catch fire. For a stretch in December, Foerster had four goals in three game and was singlehandedly carrying the Flyers offensively.
The past week, the Flyers 2020 first round pick has recorded three points with two goals and an assist. A much needed bright spot in a very worry-some week for Flyers fans.
At just 22-years-old, Foerster has showed a major step in development. Will we see Torts give him a bigger role in the second half of 2024?
