The centre of the first line of the Philadelphia Flyers, Sean Couturier, is upset. That's not too blame, after being out for over 16 months.

«He's out of his mind,» Flyers coach John Tortorella said about Couturier missing the game action. «For me, it's not that important he plays games (this season). But I'm not him. For his sanity, and for him to feel part of it before he leaves, we have to consider it if it comes down to that.»

The 30-year-old participated in the Flyers' morning skate on Tuesday for the first time since undergoing two back surgeries. He stated that his goal is to participate in a few games until the end of current season, which still has around a month left.

Before the season finishes on April 13 in Chicago, he stated that he hopes to "get a couple games in".

Sean Couturier says he feels way better now than he did at the same timeframe after his first back surgery. "Night and day," he said.

Noted that last time, once he pushed it at 100%, it flared up in a big way. Now he's back pushing in full & it feels fine.
