Is Kevin Hayes linked to Two teams?

Kevin Hayes has had one of the highest point totals in his career this season even though he was on a team that could barely score any goals for long stretches.

For the first half of the season he was factored in almost every game and besides TK, he was the highest point-getter for the team.

Now that the Flyers have decided to begin their full rebuilding phase, Hayes's name has been linked to two teams that are looking for help down the middle. Both teams are also in their rebuilding phases which are the Columbus Blue Jackets and the St Louis Blues.

According to cap friendly.com, the 30-year-old star holds the $7.142 million cap hit which will expire in 2026-27. If the Flyers are looking to move this player they will need to retain some of the cap hit to make a trade work and more palatable for these teams.

The Flyers are also looking for draft picks to help bolster their roster on The Phantoms and within their ranks.

Both teams require a new centreman and Hayes would fit in their top 6. It remains to be seen if the Flyers intend to move him but it's highly likely that will happen.
