The Phantoms playoff run comes to an end.

With Flyers nation entering the offseason and preparing themselves for May 8th to see if they have a chance for Connor Bedard, the Flyers AHL affiliate was actually in a playoff run.

The Lehigh Valley Phantoms were in their first-round matchup against the Charlotte Checkers. After a hard-fought series, The Phantoms found themselves on the wrong side of the score sheet and the number of wins to win the series.


It was the opening round for The Phantoms who played three games and the last two to one in that series. The Phantoms split the series one game piece with two close games in the score.


Unfortunately for The Phantoms, Charlotte won game three with a wide margin of 6 to nothing while at home.

It's good to see that the youngsters are learning how to take playoff losses and will build themselves higher as they try to find a spot with the Flyers next year. Phantoms star Tyson Foerster had two goals and one assist during that playoff series.
