The Philadelphia Flyers will have a very busy offseason, no matter where they finish in the standings this season. Whether they make the playoffs or not, this season has seemed to speed up the rebuild. No one expected them to come close to competing, and here we are in April and they are a point from the Playoffs, after holding a playoff spot for most of the season.

Goaltending is the obvious question needing answers this offseason, but that's not to say other areas won't be looked at as well. The Flyers traded Defesenman Sean Walker at the deadline, and at that moment is when this end of season collapse started. Could they think about bringing a star defenseman back?
Ivan Provorov was traded to the Blue Jackets last year after his way of play didn't quite sync up with Coach John Tortorella's system. However could a return be on the horizon? Provorov will likely be shopped this summer by the Blue Jackets, and they will be selling him at discount compared to what they gave up to get him. Provorov has not had the best season, sitting at 31 points through 78 games. He is still only 27, plays a ton of minutes and doesn't miss many games. The Flyers have a void to fill on defense, especially if they don't like the play of Ginning and Attard.
What do you think Flyers fans? Would you like to see Ivan Provorov in the orange and black again?
