While the Philadelphia Flyers are trying to clinch a playoff spot, some of their prospects are standing out in their junior playoff matchups. At the top of the list is 2017 4th Round pick, Matthew Strome. The Hamilton Bulldogs (OHL) forward looked dominant in his team's first round series against Ottawa, Strome was able to register 10 points in five games. Hamilton ended up taking the series 4-1 and will face Niagra in the second round. Flyers goalie prospect Carter Hart showed his resiliance as he bounced back from arguably his worst start of the season and helped the Everett Silvertips (WHL) eliminate Seattle. The Flyers 2016 2nd round pick finished the series with a .938 save percentage and a 1.97 goals against average in five games which included a shutout during the clinching game. While Nolan Patrick, the Flyers first of two 2017 first round picks, just racked up his first three point game of his NHL career, the Flyers second first round pick isn't doing too bad either. Morgan Frost helped the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds (OHL) sweep their first round series and put up seven points in four games. The future definitely looks bright in Philly, thanks Ron!
