The Flyers drafted Alex Bump in the 5th round of the 2022 NHL draft.

Bump recently played his first season in the NCAA for Western Michigan University, where he had an amazing year with 34 points in 38 games as a rookie. This great season was rewarded by Bump receiving an all-rookie team award in the NCHC.
