John Tortorella is no stranger to the NHL and the big stage. With over 1500 games coached, 700 wins, a 2x Jack Adams Award winner, and the first Stanley Cup in Tampa Bay Lightning history in 2004, the Flyers bench boss knows how to get it done. Despite whether people like the way he coaches or the tactics he uses, Tortorella sticks to his guns and just wants to win. On Thursday night, one of Tortorella's former players and a Flyers rival gave an insight into what makes Torts so special.

Henrik Lundqvist now serves as a color commentator for TNT as he has done a tremendous job transitioning into a career in media after putting up a hall-of-fame worthy career as a goalie.
Lunqvist played for Tortorella with the New York Rangers from 2008-2013 and gave fans watching last night's Flyers game an interesting perspective into what it was like playing for Tortorella.
To nobodies surprise, Lundqvist spoke incredibly highly of the Flyers bench boss.
"To me when I look back at all the coaches I had, what he brings the most is and what I love the most about him is his passion. He brings that to every practice, every game and it fires you up as a player. You want to win and you want to play for him. He's an honest coach and big on accountability."

Despite what the media says, every player who has played for Torts has said nothing but great things about him and the one constant you always hear; Tortorella is big on accountability.
Will Torts lead the Flyers to their first playoff appearance in 5 seasons?
