Laughton speaks on his rumors around the deadline
Flyers forward Scott Laughton was surrounded by trade talk around the deadline to which he has admitted was not easy.
"Makes me pretty emotional, to be honest. To have that type of support from the room is amazing." Scott Laughton's teammates went to management to make sure their emotional heartbeat stayed with the Flyers past the NHL Trade Deadline.
Laughton was assured by Flyers GM that he would not be moved but with all the rumors floating around, he admitted it was hard not to think about it.
"Always a little bit nerve-wracking time with all the rumors flying around, but very happy and grateful to still be here and be a part of this great group," Laughton said.
The forward was able to breathe a sigh of relief after the deadline hit since he was able to continue his career as a Flyer. Laughton has been having a solid season with the Flyers putting up 34 points in 70 games with a 3 +/- rating.
