The London Knights have had a great program over the years and have produced many great NHL players. This season has been no different as several players on this squad have reached an incredible milestone.

One player happens to be Flyers top prospect Denver Barkey who has broke the 100-point barrier for the first time in his hockey career.

The 18-year-old budding star was selected by the Flyers in 2023, in the third round 31st overall. The five-foot 9 155 LB centre has watched his game grow and reaching these new heights. During the game against the Windsor Spitfires, Barkey had a goal and an assist and after the game he reflected on how it felt to break the 100-point barrier.

«I knew that was a pretty cool milestone and hard to hit,» the 18-year-old from Newmarket said. «I couldn't do it without my teammates. It was (fitting to happen on a Cowan goal). We've been here since we were 16 and have become really tight, so to share these accomplishments and time together is great.»

The Knights themselves have had a great season as they are currently four points ahead of Saginaw for first overall in the OHL. Several players including Easton Cowan also have broke through the 100-point mark and will give them a great chance to win another Memorial Cup.

As for Barkey, his game can only go up and it's to be expected that he will be a fixture in the Flyers light up in the not-too-distant future.
