It's becoming clear that Flyers defenceman Nick Seeler will be drawing plenty of attention from other general managers as the Flyers season continues and the team continues to pile points as they solidify a playoff spot.

The Flyers played the Maple Leafs tonight in Toronto and at the end of the first period, a scrum ensued behind the Maple Leafs net where Seeler took exception to Leafs forward Bobby McMann and out muscled him to the ice.
It all began when the Maple Leafs hit Flyers centre Scott Laughton which ignited the scrum. These kind of plays from Seeler will give general manager Danny Briere options at the trade deadline even though the team is riding high now.
Seeler holds a minimal cap hit of $775,000 AAV, who is in the final year of his 1.55 million deal. He brings snarl and physicality to his game which many teams would covet including the Maple Leafs. Known as one of the softest teams in the NHL, the Maple Leafs certainly could use a man like Seeler to help solidify their bottom 3 defence especially on the penalty kill.
It remains to be seen on whether Seeler would want to sign with the Flyers next season which will help determine what Briere will do at the trade deadline. It's possible he could get traded and then re sign with the Flyers later in the off season.
One thing for sure, he will garner attention.
