BREAKING: Kuznetsov Officially Out of Washington

Evgeny Kuznetsov was cleared by the NHL assistance program on Saturday and was expected to rejoin the Capitals. To much surprise, the Capitals put the 31 year-old on waivers.
Kuznetsov cleared waivers this morning and it was announced that he would be loaned to the Hershey Bears of the AHL.

Time will tell if Kuznetsov actually reports to Hershey and due to his one-way NHL contract, he will be making his salary of 7.5 million per year in Hershey.
Kuznetsov had 17 points in 43 games this season before taking a leave from the team.
