After an eventful weekend that saw the Flyers travel to Toronto and then play in the 2024 Stadium Series in New Jersey, the Flyers will hit the road again as they travel to Chicago to take on the Blackhawks on Wednesday night after a short period of rest. Ahead of the Wednesday night matchup on TNT, the Chicago Blackhawks activated two key players before they take on the Flyers.

Number one overall pick in center Connor Bedard along with 26-year-old left wing Anthony Beauvillier have both been activated from IR and seem to be good to go for their matchup on Wednesday night against the Philadelphia Flyers.
After missing nearly a month with a broken jaw, Connor Bedard was welcomed back to the lineup on Thursday, Feb. 15 and has been a force to be reckoned with in his three games since his return. In three games, Bedard has compiled six points, including three on Monday night where he notched two assists and a goal.

For Anthony Beauvillier, the 26-year-old left wing has been getting his feet under him in Chicago as he has recorded 14 points on 10 assist before his injury sent him to the injured reserve for a period of time.
Despite the Blackhawks place in the standings, with Bedard and Beauvillier back, the Blackhawks will certainly not be a walk in the park for the Flyers who have dropped two straight.
