Former Flyers prospect Cutter Gauthier who turned the Flyers organization upside down in early January signed a three-year entry level deal with the Anaheim Ducks according to Frank Seravalli.

Seravalli also reports that his deal will begin immediately and that he'll step right into the NHL. This decision came within the last 24 hours after Gauthier's team, the Boston College Eagles were eliminated from the frozen 4 during the championship game against Denver.
The Eagles lost 2-0. It was a bitter end for Gauthier as earlier in the day, during a pregame interview Gauthier embarrassed himself when he explained that the other team will be shedding tears as he expected his team to steamroll Denver.
Gauthier took the NHL news cycle by storm in January after it was reported he had no desire to report to Philadelphia or work with the team and wanted to be moved immediately. This news triggered a firestorm of rumors across the web for the reasons why he wanted to leave and it even became a rumor that former Flyers centre Kevin Hayes was involved in the decision which was revealed to be untrue.
In any case, he is now part the Ducks organization officially and the Flyers can close the chapter on this debacle.
