Fans want Subban fired after inappropriate joke is made live on air

During an ESPN broadcast, former Canadiens defenseman PK Subban made a questionable joke which has upset fans online.
ESPN showed a clip with Jack Eichel cutting his stick with a saw which was followed by Subban making a very inappropriate joke.
After a segment showing Jack Eichel cutting his stick with a saw, ESPN's studio show saw P.K. Subban say "I'm not a carpenter, but I do carry around a hammer," Steve Levy say "Yes, you do! So I've heard," and Mark Messier just look into the camera.

The joke has caused a lot of backlash online with fans upset at what Subban said, adding that ESPN should fire the analyst.
Clearly Subban's comment was inappropriate and ESPN will need to take action regarding the situation, so far the network has yet to comment on the clip.
