The Philadelphia Flyers now only have three regular season games remaining, and it appears their offseason will begin sooner than we all expected just a few weeks ago. Also, not too long ago, we all believe they had their goaltending situation figured out with Carter Hart and Sam Ersson; however, this has all changed quickly. Per, Elliotte Friedman, he believes that the St Louis Blue will be trading Jordan Binnington in the offseason.

The Flyers are reportedly, trying to re-sign goaltender Ivan Fedotov but trading for a goaltender could be an option as well. Binnington's record is 28-20-4, with a 2.88 GAA, .911 SV%, with three shutouts in 53 games. These numbers are decent and are better statistics than the Flyers goaltenders, especially as of late. Binnington has a full no trade clause, however that will switch to a modified no trade clause in the summer so it will be easier for the St. Louis Blues to move him. Additionally, Binnington's salary is $6 million per year. It is not know if the Flyers will trade for Binnington, however, they currently only have Ersson under contract for next year so expect moves to be made.
