Most Hated Player in the League, and Former Flyer, Drops Gloves and Gets Punished

Former Flyer Nick Cousins was recently in a player vote hosted by The Athletic and was voted as the most hated player in the league, outvoting Boston's Brad Marchand, who won last year's poll. Cousins has become known for the hit and run tactics with cheap shots, and it was only a matter of time before he got what was coming to him.
Anthony Mantha, I'm sure made some of those voters happy last night and at least for one night, put Cousins in his place.
This signifies a return to old time hockey where players did not get away with some of the cheap antics that Cousins deploy. There was an enforcer on the team especially for these types of reasons, to make sure they shut up players like Nick Cousins.
