Three Flyers contracts that are favorable for next year

The next Flyer is defenseman Cam York as he is on his first year of a two-year contract that has a cap hit of $1.6 million. York on the year has nine goals and a total of 29 points and is still only 23 years old. He will be a restricted free agent after next season, so he should get a pay increase by the Flyers as he should only get better.

The last Flyer is Owen Tippett, who just signed a new contract with the Flyers earlier this season. For next year, Tippett's cap hit will increase from $1.5 million to $6.2 million. Tippett had a breakout season last year, and he backed it up with an even better season this year, so the Flyers decided to re-sign him earlier this season. Tippett has 28 goals on the year and a total of 52 points. He is only 25 years old, so he should get even better, and many believe he could become a 40 plus goal scorer.
