In a flashback to 2004, the Chicago Blackhawks and Philadelphia Flyers shook things up with a significant trade.

The Flyers acquired Alexei Zhamnov along with a fourth-round pick from the Blackhawks, while Chicago received Jim Vandermeer, Colin Fraser, and a second-round pick in return.
This trade had lasting effects for both teams. For the Blackhawks, it brought in players who would play key roles in their Stanley Cup victories: Colin Fraser in 2010 and Bryan Bickell in 2013 and 2015.
Meanwhile, the Flyers added experience to their roster with Zhamnov's arrival.
The trade serves as a reminder of how impactful deals can be in shaping a team's trajectory and success throughout the season.
