For what has seemed like the past month, Flyers center Scott Laughton has been one of, if not the biggest draw this trade deadline as many teams seem to be in the market for a center and this year the market surrounding centers is surprisingly thin. Laughton's gritty game and physical play would definitely be a key addition to a third line of a contending team, but it is now a matter of meeting Danny Briere's price for Laughton. On Tuesday night, another NHL team showed interest in Laughton.

So far, the Edmonton Oilers, New York Rangers, Buffalo Sabres, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Colorado Avalanche have all shown interest in the Flyers alternate captain. On Tuesday, the Winnipeg Jets showed interest in Laughton as they remain one of the top contenders in the Western Conference.
Laughton would actually make a lot of sense for the Jets who already acquired Sean Monahan from the Canadians earlier in the year. Laughton on the third line would really bring in some serious offensive firepower for Winnipeg.
It is still unknown however, if teams are going to meet the price that Danny Briere has set. It was first reported that the Flyers are asking for at least a first round pick for Laughton, but that price could have gone up as Laughton has been playing well lately and was recently named alternate captain.
Laughton has made it clear he would like to remain in Philadelphia with the Flyers, but also understands it is a business and has been extremely appreciative of the transparency that head coach John Tortorella and the Flyers front office has shown.
