Will Carter Hart Land in Ottawa?

It seems that with Danny Briere at the helm, the team is undergoing a rebuild with the intention of starting fresh.

One player whose name has been mentioned in trade talks is Carter Hart, the goaltender for the Philadelphia Flyers who have yet to meet the high expectations set for him.


There is a possibility that Hart may be traded, and one potential destination could be the rebuilding Ottawa Senators.


Anthony Di Marco believes that the Senators are one of the few teams who could meet the fair value for Hart and desperately need a reliable goaltender to take charge of the position after a tumultuous previous season.


At present, Briere must contemplate the appropriate form of compensation if they decide to transfer Hart. This is because Ersson and Sandstrom, who have not gained Tortorella's confidence like Hart, will have to step up.
