The Phantoms can clinch their 1st playoff series win this Friday night

The Philadelphia Flyers missed the playoffs in 2024, however their AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms did make the Calder Cup playoffs. In the 1st round of the playoffs, the Phantoms are taking on the Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins in a best of three series. The Phantoms can clinch this series and move on to the next round this Friday night in Lehigh Valley.

The Phantoms defeated the Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins on Wednesday night on the road to take a 1-0 series lead. The Phantoms won 2-1 with goals from Rhett Gardner and Adam Brooks. Also, Phantoms goaltender, Cal Petersen stopped 21 of 22 shots, which is good for him as he struggled while in the NHL with the Flyers this season. Lets, hope he can back this effort up on Friday night as the Phantoms go for the sweep.
