For decades, the Philadelphia Flyers have prided themselves on being a first-class organization. From ownership shaking hands with players after every game to the players being extremely involved with fans and the community, the class of the organization is what makes the Flyers special. On Saturday night, the Flyers showed another classy gesture after a big win.

Saturday night may have seemed like a normal win as the Flyers took down the Seattle Kraken in a 3-2 win, but after the game the Flyers showed a great gesture to one of the officials as the game ended.

NHL official Ryan Galloway has been a linesman in the league for the past 20 seasons. Before the season Galloway announced that this season would be his last season serving as an NHL official.

After the Flyers wrapped up their win against the Kraken, every Flyers player made sure to go up to Galloway and shake his hand and thank him for his time in the NHL.

Prominent Philadelphia sports media member Pete Thompson recognized this and gave his praises to both the Flyers and Galloway.

"You want to see class? Every Flyers player made sure to shake hands with & give props to NHL linesman Ryan Galloway, who is reportedly retiring after this season. It's really cool to see the respect. The Winnipeg native worked his 1st NHL game in 2002."
